All Things Fungi Festival

Greetings from Sussex, England, myconauts! I’m here for the All Things Fungi Festival and delighted to be among so many fellow fungi enthusiasts.

And speaking of incredible fungi-loving humans, I had to share the work of my friend Mickey. He creates these HUGE mushroom staffs that are remarkably phenotypically accurate and inspired by the fungi we know and love.

With Liberty Cap (Psilocybe semilanceata) season upon us, it seems like the perfect time to snag one of these larger-than-life specimens!

Also wonderful to be here with my friend Giuliana Furci who is the founder and CEO of the nonprofit Fungi Foundation, working to protect fungi and ensure they have a seat at the conservation table.
