Oyster Mushrooms

Spring is for Oyster Mushrooms. Unlike morels which can be hit or miss, oyster mushrooms (Pleurotus ostreatus, Pleurotus pulmonarius, Pleurotus populinus) grow on dead trees and re-occur each spring until the host tree is very decomposed. A delicious mushroom!
